A small studio right on the kitchen table!
2 weeks ago, a week before I started the studio workshop, I bought a light stand, umbrella and a standard hot shoe flash adaptor for the light stand. I also jumped over to south of Tel-Aviv to get 1M x 1M perspex surface. I discovered that with 2 small hot shoe flashes and the equipment I just mentioned, one can take some very nice studio style shot right at home on the kitchen table! I also made a Snoot from a cereal box which proved helpful as well (used to light the Dooley’s bottle and in the last wine glass image). Below are some shots I took this Saturday and if your interested in the light setup of any of these shots, feel free to ask

Photographing Toilet Paper for 3 hours?
Started a 7 session studio workshop yesterday. Our first session was all about… wait for it… toilet paper! we shot it for 3 hours while playing with 1, 2 or 3(2 flashes and one reflective surface) light sources – playing around with a snoot, radio slaves and other studio gear was fun. While I do not think any of the photographs I took are not really inspiring
here they are for you to judge.
