Weekend at the North!
Hi All! A couple of weeks ago Miri and I had the chance to take a short weekend vacation to the north of Israel. We started the trip at a Romanian restaurant in Haifa called “The Beer Spring” and the food was very good, especially the appetizers! Sitting in the restaurant I saw the fellow below and he really captured my attention…
After the restaurant we went to see a movie (Sherlok Holmes) and right after we drove to our Tzimmer (B&B) in Maale Gamla. We were lucky and the weather was great! The next day, I woke up and started investigating our garden which had plenty of flowers, bees and butterflies and luckily I had my Sigma 70mm macro with me…
Before heading back home on Saturday, we stopped by the Hula Valley to see some birds… but we saw a lot!
We came at an excellent time when they feed the birds and we were right in the middle of tens of thousands while they ate!
Till next time!
NICE Kids!
I always enjoy taking pictures of children because they easily forget you’re even there, even if your carrying a 1.5kg lens like the Nikkor 70-200 VR
. The company that I work at, NICE Systems, holds a summer camp for the employee kids every year. As in last year, I had the opportunity to take some photos.
The 70-200 VR is such an excellent lens with great sharpness, colors, contrast and bokeh! but since a new version of this lens was just introduced, it was a good opportunity to be reminded how good of a lens it is.
